Installation of IBM Thinkcenter

Yesterday Me and My friend got an IBM ThinkCenter machine. We tried to install windows xp in that machine. While installing we realized that we lost the serial number of the XP cd. Then we brought another windows xp cd for complete the installation. But we not even continue and we couldn't change the boot order. Finally we found out the solution. We can change the boot device also.but it is different from normal setup procedure. There is no need to press del key for enter in to setup.

1. Press F1 to enter in to setup , while machine turning on
2. For change the boot device or boot order press F12

Now I am thinking that HP or another branded pc may have another procedure or key sequence for Installation. I accept every one's comments on this.
